Psychologist and Sexologist

About Erik Rusowicz

I’m Erik,  a psychologist and clinical sexologist.

I graduated with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in 2014. My primary area of interest is human sexuality and its related challenges.

To deepen my expertise, I completed postgraduate studies in Clinical Sexology, where I gained both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, earning the title of Clinical Sexologist.

I dedicate my work to supporting adults facing various psychological, emotional, and sexual challenges. I believe that everyone has the right to fulfill their desires and needs.
My main goal is to help people better understand themselves, leading to a conscious, happy, and fulfilling life.

Helping people overcome life’s challenges is my mission, and I am here to support you.

My Approach

I believe in the power of a collaborative therapeutic relationship. Every individual is unique, and so are their experiences and needs.

My approach combines professional skills with evidence-based psychological tools and techniques (EBP), customised to each person’s path toward well-being and balance.
I primarily employ cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques in my work, always maintaining a steadfast dedication to confidentiality and trust.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a form of talking therapy where we work together to address challenges by changing the way you think and behave. We will explore the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and actions, helping you identify and modify unhelpful patterns.

As a clinical sexologist, I support individuals in navigating all aspects of sexuality from understanding the human body to making informed choices about sexual health, sexual dysfunction and reproduction. I empower people to make decisions that align with their unique needs and preferences, while honouring the diversity of human experiences.

Psychosexual therapy is a specialised form of talk therapy that focuses on sexual difficulties: whether they are psychological, relational, or physiological in origin.
It helps individuals and couples understand and work through issues related to sexual function, desire, intimacy and identity.

Together, we will identify and understand the underlying issues affecting your well-being and develop practical strategies to overcome them.
